Title:
Small Animal Vet - Hampshire

Reference Number:
#524

Description:

Coastal practice in Hampshire seeks colleague with some experience to join their team of 10 vets and 15 nursing staff.

My client runs a busy three site practice, all three of which are well equipped and are maintained to a high standard.  The practice benefits from orthopaedic equipment, ECG, Endoscopy, ultrasound and digital x-ray.  Spacious with airconditioning to make a pleasant working environment.  The role is based mainly at the principle surgery with some periods at the satellite branches during the working week.  The practice supports their staff with CPD and currently have no less than 4 vets studying for certificates.  Own interests are encouraged.

The right candidate will ideally have a surgical bias although this is not essential.  The successful candidate will have 12 months or more UK practice experience, excellent communication skills and a caring attitude towards both clients and patients.  You will be keen to maintain the highest levels of clinical work and deliver excellent service to your clients. Driving licence essential.

4 day working week with every other Saturday morning only and days off are on a rota ensuring that everyone benefits from long weekends. Bare minimum of OOH (3rd on call only with rare call outs)

Salary commensurate with experience, CPD encouraged and supported, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
